A simple boat from a sheet of A4 paper

This is the easiest, fastest and most common version of a paper boat. It can be done by both small children and adults. To create a simple craft from an A4 sheet with your own hands, you should read the step-by-step instructions, as well as a photo and video description.

You will need:

  • Sheet of A4 paper.

Progress:

  1. Fold the sheet in half 2 times.
  2. Next, unfold the sheet 1 time.
  3. Now fold the top halves of the sides towards the center fold so that you have a corner.
  4. Bend the lower parts of the workpiece up on both sides, while when you fold, there will be extra corners. These corners must be bent over the triangular part of the workpiece. We will do the same on the second side.
  5. Now open the triangle and fold along the other folds. Carefully work out the folds of the sides.
  6. We bend the lower corner of the rhombus up, but not reaching the upper corner by about 2 cm. In the same way, we do it on the other side, turning the workpiece over.
  7. Now we open our blank and fold along other folds.
  8. Holding the side corners, open them by pulling in different directions. You will have a beautiful boat. To better understand our idea, we have prepared a video for you that will help you cope with the task quite quickly.

boat with a sail

If you do not know how to make a paper boat with a sail yourself, then take into account our provided idea. It takes longer to make such a masterpiece, but it turns out to be more interesting and beautiful. In terms of complexity, it is not too different from the first, therefore it is quite accessible for a child to complete. Let's see step-by-step instructions to get the necessary knowledge and skills to create it.

You will need:

  • Sheet of A4 paper;
  • Sheet blank 12×5 cm and 3×3 cm;
  • Thin wire;
  • Scissors;
  • Large needle;
  • PVA glue.

Progress:

  1. We do the craft itself in the same way as in the first version.
  2. With a needle, make a hole in the top of the triangle of the boat.
  3. We need to thread the wire into the hole and bend it from below so that it holds.
  4. From a sheet of 12 × 5 we need to make a sail. The needle should pierce two holes for fastening and put the sail on the wire.
  5. Now we make a flag from a small blank. Fold the sheet in half and attach to the wire, bending it down. We need to glue the two parts of the flag together.
  6. Use scissors to cut a triangle on the flag to make two cloves.
  7. Straighten all the details of your beautiful paper boat and you can start it sailing. As a prime example, we encourage you to watch our video. It will tell you how easier and easier it is to cope with this creative work at home.

DIY paper boat

Another option is a simple paper boat that you can make yourself. Both you and your child will like such a beautiful boat, and most importantly, it will swim perfectly. Let's see how to build such a boat, using our step-by-step description of the provided idea.

You will need:

  • Sheet of A4 paper.

Progress:

  1. Lay the sheet vertically on the table.
  2. Pull the upper right corner to the middle of the left side so that the top edge of the sheet lies parallel to the left edge of the sheet. And we make a bend.
  3. Next, straighten the sheet and fold in the same way only from left to right.
  4. Now fold the bottom of the sheet of paper in half to the fold line of the top.
  5. At the lower bent part on both sides, we bend the triangles up.
  6. Unfold the upper part and make another fold, pulling the top line to the bottom. Thus, you will have a horizontal fold.
  7. Now, along the horizontal folds, we fold the upper part of the sheet into a triangle, bending these folds inward, and the rest outward.
  8. The resulting workpiece is folded in half lengthwise. Turn back.
  9. Now turn the back of the sheet towards you and fold into a triangle, pulling the sides to the center.
  10. Fold the lower small triangles up along the folds. You will get a figure that looks like a rhombus.
  11. Pull the side corners to the central fold.
  12. Fold our workpiece in half lengthwise.
  13. Now straighten a beautiful paper boat, opening the central fold outward and gradually form a boat. For a more detailed and visual examination of the master class, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the following interesting video made using the origami technique.

flat bottom boat

Another version of a simple paper boat is a model with a flat bottom. It will swim great in puddles or rivers. To make such a creation with your own hands, you can read our step-by-step instructions, as well as a photo and video description of the idea provided.

You will need:

  • Sheet of A4 paper.

Progress:

  1. Fold a sheet of paper into 3 parts so that the folds are along the sheet. Work out all the folds well.
  2. Unfold one fold and fold the other in half, leaving the middle section intact.
  3. Then straighten back.
  4. Now, in the upper part, bend two corners inward, focusing on the center of this part.
  5. In the same way, bend the remaining part, bending the sides towards the middle.
  6. On the other side, fold only one corner along the side where the paper is folded in half.
  7. We bend the previously bent side to the common side.
  8. Bend out half of this part, and unbend back.
  9. Now, from the side where 4 corners were bent, we add 4 more in the same way, only on the free side.
  10. On the other hand, we bend one corner.
  11. Divide the resulting blank into 2 equal parts and begin to form a beautiful boat.
  12. The part where only one corner was bent, fold along the line where the sides of these triangles end.
  13. Bend back and open the workpiece in the middle. You will get the bow of the boat on one side.
  14. On the other side, straighten the walls and corners to get the back of the boat.
  15. Now you will have a good craft. To facilitate your creative work, we suggest watching a video that will tell and show you how to make a paper boat using the origami technique quite simply and quickly.

The simplest paper boat

If you want to surprise your friends or a child with the fastest paper boat assembly, then you should like this option. Such a masterpiece will not float, at least for a long time, but it has an original assembly method. Let's see how to make such a miracle with your own hands.

You will need:

  • Sheet of paper (square).

Progress:

  1. To carry out this idea correctly, you must first fold a square sheet diagonally.
  2. Now fold the bottom of the triangle (about 1/3 of the way) up. Work the folds well.
  3. Unbend the structure and turn the lower bent parts in such a way that you get the sides of a beautiful and neat do-it-yourself boat.
  4. Our quick assembly product is ready! If you are at a loss in the process of creating crafts, then we offer you a video. You will get through it much faster.

Origami paper yacht

In order for you to be able to quickly create such an original paper boat at home, it will not take much effort and time. It only takes a few times to carefully review our step-by-step master class and success will be in your capable hands.

For work you will need:

  • colored paper (square);
  • tassel;
  • office glue.

Manufacturing process:

  1. In order for this idea to please you, you need to be patient and show a desire. Making a yacht is not difficult at all, on the contrary, it is very exciting. We take a bright sheet of any color and fold it in half diagonally so that we get one large triangle. We bend its edges with a finger, and then unfold it and fold it in half again, but on the other side, trying to form the same geometric figure.
  2. On an unfolded sheet of paper, we received two longitudinal cross fold lines, which marked the center of our sheet. Now we put the material with an acute angle upwards - like a rhombus. We bend its right edge, highlighting the clearly bent side with a finger, and pull it to the center.
  3. After that, we need to fold our rhombus with three corners in half, but so that its central part looks outward. That is, the previously bent right corner should look up, and not inward. As a result, we will learn something like a triangle, but its right side will not have a sharp shape.
  4. Now we have to bend the top of the right side of the triangle inward so that we get a small rhombus. We press its upper sides with a finger, creating a clear line.
  5. Now we need to bend the upper left side of the rhombus just obtained from the bottom up, making a sharp triangle in this way. In this way, we act with the right side of our figure.
  6. We should connect the sharp upper base of our rhombus together, put it on its side in the form of a kind of flag, highlight the fold lines on both sides with a finger, and then turn it back.
  7. We should slightly bend the sharp corner of the expanded rhombus, then connect the opposite sides of the figure together, pressing them tightly.
  8. We also have to bend the upper left side of the rhombus outward, pulling it to the very center of the small rhombus. Do not forget to run your finger along the bent lines.
  9. Now we also need to bend the left side corner of the rhombus slightly, pressing it, and unfold it.
  10. Similarly, we will need to do with the right side of the rhombus.
  11. After that, we put the right side of the rhombus on the left, and, as it were, pull the middle of the figure up so that the pipe looks out at the ship.
  12. We hide the tips of the two sides folded in half inside. We have a five-pointed figure with a pipe at the top.
  13. Now we bend the bottom side up and pull it almost to the base of the yacht. We fix the folds with our finger, and then we unfold our bottom of the yacht and lift the edges of the ship up so that they are on all sides of the product.
  14. We have to fasten the back of the craft with clerical glue so that it does not open.
  15. Gently straighten the bottom of the product with your fingers and put it on the table to admire. Such a beautiful creative work will appeal to every parent and child as well. The idea at first glance will seem difficult, but with the help of our prepared video, all difficulties will disappear by themselves. Do not believe it, it is worth making such a paper creation with your own hands.

A simple origami boat

There are many options for folding a paper boat. But among them, one can single out, which, for sure, is familiar to many. According to this scheme, our parents folded, so children should also be introduced to it. A distinctive feature of such a boat is its ability to stay on the water, and the duration of the voyage largely depends on the density of the material used. The step-by-step creation of such a boat using the origami technique is shown in this master class.

For its manufacture, any rectangular sheet will suffice.

First, fold it in half, and on the side with the fold, mark the middle.

Now, focusing on this mark, we bend the sides in the form of triangles.

The parts protruding from the bottom must be bent up. First we do it on one side.

Turning the workpiece over, we perform the same fold up.

There are corners on the sides that need to be filled. First, we bend the corner located on top, turning it over the main part of our craft.

Now on the other side (lower corner) you need to do the same.

By repeating the steps on both sides of the triangle, we got such a blank for the future boat.

At this stage, our craft is similar to a hat, which is performed in the same way.

She needs to be shaped like a square.

Fold the bottom corner of the top layer of the square up.

We turn the workpiece over and make the same bend of the corner up.

Again, our workpiece needs to be straightened.

And fold it into a square.

Now gently begin to sip the upper corners to the sides.

As a result, we get a boat, which remains to be completed a little.

It is necessary to straighten its bottom and sides for greater stability. Our origami boat is ready for children's games.

DIY sailboat

The origami technique involves turning a simple paper sheet into various crafts. As a rule, a square is used for this. It is this form that we need to take to create the next craft.

This master class presents a step-by-step production of a ship with a sail.

Let's get ready for work:

  • square sheet;
  • glue stick.

Let's start making a boat by folding the square in half in two directions. So we outline the necessary folds for further work.

Now we bend the lower and upper parts of the workpiece to the middle line.

The sides also need to be bent to the middle.

To create the sides, you need to straighten the corners and give them a different shape. We begin to straighten the upper right corner, smooth its lower fold diagonally.

Let's smooth the top part of the workpiece. So we formed one of the corners.

Similarly, straighten the lower right corner.

On the left side you need to do the same. So we formed the boards.

In order for our craft to look like a ship, you need to take it with your hands and pull the halves in different directions - to your left and to your right. As a result, the workpiece should take the following form.

Turn the lower protruding corner to the right and place it horizontally.

In the bow, you need to glue a little, connecting the right and left sides together.

Our boat with a sail is ready!

You can go sailing not only in reality, but also in your fantasies. This is especially true for children who are easily immersed in the game, imagining themselves as various characters. If a child dreams of the sea and imagines himself a sailor, then to support his imagination, one cannot do without a boat with white sails made using the origami technique. In this master class, we will show its manufacture.

To create such a boat with sails, you only need a square sheet of colored one-sided paper, we used blue.

First, fold the square in half.

After that, we perform another transverse fold. As a result, our square with folds turned out to be divided into 4 equal parts.

Now turn the workpiece over to the other side and do the addition diagonally.

Then fold the square along the other diagonal and turn it over to the front side.

Again, turn the workpiece over with the white side up and bend 2 opposite corners to the center.

Now we need to start shaping the sails. To do this, we begin to fold inward on one side.

It is necessary to fold it so that a vertically located white triangle forms on top.

We do the same with the other side. As a result, we see that 2 white sails have become noticeable.

But one of them needs to be reduced a little. To do this, bend the right sail down.

After that, we bend it up, at the same time forming a small fold.

We fill the resulting fold inside. Now our boat has white sails.

Its lower part must be bent to the back.

From the front side, our sailboat looks like this.

Our boat with white origami sails is ready.

How to make a manigami boat out of paper money

The model of the boat presented in this master class is quite simple. What makes him special in the first place? Made from real banknotes. This is a Manigami boat. The proposed article will help you remember how to fold an origami boat. This is a good old way of folding, a very popular one that every child should know. The resulting boat can even float on the water, but only if you do not feel sorry for the bill. Consider the stages of modeling step by step.

Materials required for work:

  • banknote;
  • ruler for smoothing paper.

How to fold a boat out of money in stages

The banknote prepared by you must be folded twice in height, that is, bend the rectangle in half, first combining the longer sides, then the shorter ones. Flatten the paper and unfold. The central cross-shaped line is a label for further work.

Bend the workpiece across so that the front part remains inside. Now bend the side where the fold is visible, with a house, closing the two upper corners in the center.

Turn the received house of the back side towards you. Leave the upper corner (a kind of roof) unchanged in the future, you need to work with the rest of the paper (with peculiar walls). Lift the bottom layer up, aligning with the base of the isosceles triangle.

Raise the other side in the same way. The two square parts of the bill will be symmetrically bent, and the isosceles triangle will remain inside.

Bend the top layer back to its original position and start working on the bottom layer. First lower one corner down, combine the bend line with the side of an isosceles triangle.

Then bend the second corner, combining with the second same side of the triangle (you are working with an isosceles geometric figure).

Do the same with the bottom. Now the bill is 2 identical isosceles triangles connected by bases.

Bend the workpiece in half so as to get a multi-layered triangle. From below it can be split with your fingers. This is a kind of paper model of a triangle, which is known to everyone.

Bring your fingers inward from the bottom and stretch so that the resulting triangle again looks like a square. In this case, the model will become smaller and more layered.

Pull back the side corners a little, straightening the bill.

Bend the resulting square again to make the square even smaller.

For the last time, stretch the sharp corners in the resulting workpiece to the sides so that you get a boat. The right angle of an isosceles triangle will be visible in the center. This is the roof of the house built earlier.

Manigami ship is ready. You can repeat the entire folding procedure on plain paper if you need to make a craft in a different color.

Now you know how to make an interesting souvenir with your own hands from real money. You can also buy souvenir banknotes to make just an imitation of a manigami.

Step 1: make the first folds

Cut out a neat square from the sheet. If your sheet is originally square, you can skip this step.

Fold your square in half horizontally.

Expand. Now fold the bottom of the sheet towards the center line.

Bend the top of the sheet to the center line as well.

Fold the craft along the center line to the other side. You should have an accordion-shaped figure with 4 longitudinal folds.

Step 2: Fold in the corners. Open one side.

Fold the top left corner to the center crease.

Fold the right corner to the central crease, symmetrically to the left.

On the other hand, also bend the corners to the middle line.

Step 3: Expand. Now fold the piece in half.

Open it up. You have a boat, but it still needs to be trimmed.

To do this, wrap the "bow" of the boat on one side to the central fold. Iron the folds well.

On the other side, also wrap the "bow" to the center line. You should have a hexagon shape.

Bend the opposite corners of this hexagon symmetrically by about 0.5 cm.

Open the piece.

On the one hand, fold the "side" part to the central fold. Repeat on the other side.

Press the corners well inside the boat on all four sides. Thanks to this, the lower part of the craft will look very neat.

Open up. Align and straighten where required.

Do-it-yourself origami paper boat is ready!

colored paper boat

This most popular summer-themed craft can be made not only using the origami technique. In this master class I will show you how to make such a bright sailboat out of colored paper.

Necessary materials:

  • colored semi-cardboard of red, yellow and blue tones;
  • skewer;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • ruler;
  • marker;
  • pencil.

We create the frame of a sailboat. To do this, we take a blue half-cardboard and cut out two identical strips with dimensions of 18 x 2.5 cm.

We divide each strip with a ruler and a pencil into three equal parts. We bend in those places.

We glue the two parts of the base of the boat together on the sides.

Then we will create a small part of the deck of the ship. We use the blue semi-cardboard again.

Cut out a small rectangle. From the sides we measure 1.5 cm for gluing.

We bend along vertical lines and glue the part in the middle of the ship between the bases.

Now let's prepare a wooden skewer and two pieces of yellow paper of different lengths to create sails.

We create small holes in each rectangle. We insert a skewer through them.

Cut out a small square from the red sheet. Glue it to the deck. We make a small hole along the diameter of the wide part of the skewer. We paste.

Now we cut out a beautiful flag from red paper that will develop in the wind. Underline the contour lines with a black marker.

Glue the flag to the highest point of the sailboat.

Draw the portholes and other important details on the paper boat with a black marker.

A wonderful paper boat is ready for sea voyages! On the deck you can place small toys of pirates, sailors and the captain of the ship.

Almost all schemes for assembling paper boats are not complicated. And with a little practice, you can make them without a scheme. To date, there is a great variety of different options for assembling sailboats that a child of any age will master. To do this, you will need various training materials, which are presented today in the form of diagrams, instructions and videos.

This exciting activity will bring pleasure not only to kids, but also to adults. With the onset of spring, children quickly run outside to play with their paper fleet. Made from simple materials, they become a simple and accessible game.

Read how to do it here.

The favorite game of children, especially boys, is launching boats on the water, and it does not matter whether it is a bathroom, or the sea, or a small stream formed after rain. If you have already used our master classes and made and, we suggest you make cardboard boats. They are light enough to float and require minimal financial outlay to make them. How to make crafts in the form of a boat out of cardboard, we will tell further.

DIY cardboard boat

Using objects familiar to children, in combination with cardboard, you can make an excellent boat that will look very similar to the real one. To make such a ship, we need:

  • cardboard;
  • three matchboxes;
  • scissors;
  • PVA glue;
  • colored paper;
  • sheet A4;
  • hole puncher;
  • markers.
  1. We glue three matchboxes as shown in the photo.
  2. When the construction of the boxes dries, we glue the upper part with a pre-cut strip of colored paper.
  3. We form the bow of the ship. To do this, along the long side of a sheet of cardboard, cut off a strip 1.5 cm wide. Glue the ends of the strip to the matchbox structure. Gently bend the resulting free middle of the strip with your fingers.
  4. We apply the resulting boat to the cardboard and cut out the bottom along the contours. We glue it to the ship. To avoid gaps, we can additionally glue the junction of the bottom and bow of the ship with paper on the inside.
  5. We proceed to the manufacture of the mast. We twist a sheet of A4 paper tightly diagonally and seal the free end so that the mast does not unwind.
  6. In the upper matchbox we make a hole for the mast and coat it with PVA glue. We insert the mast and wait until the glue dries. Cut out sails and a flag from colored paper. In the sails we make holes for the mast with a hole punch. Sails, if desired, can be painted. Having put the sails on the mast, we seal its top with a flag, folding it in half. This is necessary to keep the sails in place. Our boat is ready!

Making ships out of paper is one of the most favorite and entertaining activities for adults and children to relax. These paper crafts are easy to make. It is enough to follow the recommendations of the master classes, and crafts of any complexity will be easy to manufacture.

To begin with, it should be understood that a ship made of paper, in contact with water, is quickly saturated with moisture and sinks. Therefore, to avoid moisture absorption, the bottom of the finished craft must be treated with a water-repellent compound, for example, vaseline oil or paraffin. You can also use glossy paper sheets of magazines to make crafts.

To make a simple boat, you will need a square sheet of paper of any size (the larger the sheet, the larger the ship will be) and a substance that protects against moisture.

How to make a ship out of paper - procedure:

  1. Fold the paper sheet evenly diagonally, smooth it out.
  2. At the resulting triangle, bend up a narrow strip, this is done on the right side, straighten it.
  3. Next, the same strip must be folded back and smoothed out.
  4. Expand the square, it should have 3 fold lines: an outer diagonal fold and 2 inner folds on the sides of the square.
  5. Fold the ship along the folds: direct the diagonal central fold up, the side folds go down, while the stripes become the sides of the ship. The top corner can be bent inwards.
  6. Lubricate the bottom of the ship with a waterproof compound.

Classic origami paper boat

To make a paper craft-ship, guided by the origami technique, you will need:

  • a rectangular sheet of thick paper;
  • toothpick;
  • colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue.

Instruction:

  1. Fold a sheet of paper in half, while the fold should run parallel to the smaller side of the rectangular sheet of paper.
  2. Place the resulting double rectangle with the fold up and mark the center line. Bend the corners of the rectangle to the center line. At the same time, 2 narrow free stripes should remain below.
  3. Further, the 1st lower strip is bent up, the workpiece is unfolded, the 2nd strip is bent in the same way.
  4. Open the workpiece from the inside and fold it in a square, press, smooth. The initial fold in this case should become the diagonal of the resulting square. Straighten the corners. The upper sides of the square should be fixed, the lower ones - free.
  5. Bend the top sheet of the square diagonally and align the corners, do the same on the opposite side. In this case, the craft takes the form of an isosceles triangle.
  6. Open the workpiece from the inside, combine opposite corners, thereby forming a square.
  7. Turn the ship around by pulling on the top corners.
  8. Straighten the middle.
  9. Fold a small strip of colored paper in half, cut it out in the shape of a flag. Place a toothpick lubricated with glue on the fold, press it. Insert a toothpick into the center of the top of the ship.

In order to make a large ship with a sail out of paper, you will need a large square sheet of paper and a glue stick.

Work process:

  1. Divide a sheet of paper with a central fold into 2 equal rectangles.
  2. The sides are folded towards the center fold.
  3. Mark the center of the resulting elongated rectangle on the long side, bend its sides to the center. Thus, a square is obtained.
  4. Now you need to form the sides of the ship. To do this, straighten the corners and fold in a different shape. It is better to start from the upper right corner: the right side of the square rises, the upper corner bends up diagonally, inside the corner must be smoothed out well.
  5. Close the right side of the square. Smooth out the resulting triangle.
  6. Following the given order of actions, form the lower triangle. Now the right side of the square is a trapezoid.
  7. Fold the left side of the square with the same trapezoid.
  8. Turn over the workpiece. Draw a diagonal line on the square.
  9. Fold the workpiece along the marked diagonal.
  10. Flip the piece. Angle pointing down, combine with a parallel angle.
  11. Glue both corners together.

Steamboat with two pipes

To make a paper model of a steamboat with 2 pipes, you only need a square sheet of paper.

How to make a two-tube paper ship:

  1. Fold a sheet of paper diagonally, mark the point of intersection of the diagonal lines.
  2. Bend each corner of the square to the center point, smooth out the wrinkles. So it turned out a smaller square, consisting of 4 isosceles triangles.
  3. Next, you need to turn the square over and, on the opposite side, again bend the corners to the center.
  4. The workpiece is turned over again, the corners of the square are again folded into triangles with a vertex at the central point. The folds must be carefully smoothed out.
  5. Turn over the model being made again. Bend 2 opposite triangles, form pipes from them, spreading the holes from above with your fingers.
  6. The 2 remaining triangles must be lifted and parted in different directions, while the craft is folded in half, the lower part unfolds, the tops of the side triangles should be directed upwards. This is how a paper model of a two-pipe steamer is obtained.

Ship with sails

In order to make a paper ship with 2 sails, you only need a sheet of square paper. For such a model, it is better to use one-sided colored paper, then the sides of the ship will be colored, and the sails will be white.

How to make a sailboat out of paper - workflow:

  • Fold a sheet of paper in half to make a rectangle, unfold. Fold in half again in a perpendicular direction, unfold. Now the large square is divided by folds into 4 small equal squares.
  • The workpiece is turned over, a diagonal addition is performed on the opposite side. The fold lines are smoothed out well.
  • Make a second diagonal fold and turn the workpiece over. The front side will be the colored side of the sheet.
  • Next, you need to place a paper sheet with a rhombus white side towards you. Bend to the central point 2 opposite corners (upper and lower), thereby forming 2 isosceles colored triangles. On the sides there will be white diamonds, the diagonal folds of which will be located horizontally and should be directed upwards.
  • Now sails are being formed: the left white rhombus rises and folds in half along a pre-selected diagonal fold, forming a white triangle; the right white rhombus is folded in a similar way; next you need to bring the white triangles together and smooth out the bottom colored triangles, which will later become the bottom of the ship.

  • For the originality of the craft, you can reduce the height of one sail, this is done as follows: the white triangle folds down and folds up again, but the last fold should be slightly lower, hide the resulting fold between the blue triangles.
  • The lower corner of the colored triangle must be bent to its base in order to form a flat bottom. The bent corner will serve as a support.

ocean liner

To make an ocean liner out of paper, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • paper sheet in the form of a square;
  • scissors;
  • sewing threads;
  • multi-colored ribbons that are used to decorate gift wrapping;
  • markers or colored pencils.

Manufacturing instructions:

  • Fold a sheet of paper in half along the diagonal lines, mark the point of intersection of the diagonals.
  • In relation to yourself, arrange a rhombus.
  • Bend the upper corner to the middle so that the vertex of the resulting triangle coincides with the intersection point of the diagonals, smooth out.
  • The next fold line will be in the same triangle a little above its base.

Along this line, the triangle is bent in the opposite direction.

  • The top of the triangle is bent over itself.
  • Next, a sheet of paper is folded along a diagonal fold.

The triangle folded before this is located on top, it should look like it is inserted inside.

  • In the lower widest part, the sides are formed. The edge of the paper sheet, starting from the corner, is bent upwards, while the lower folds should not go at right angles to the diagonal fold.
  • Decorate the sides of the liner with ribbons, draw portholes, anchors and the name of the ship. Cut out triangles from paper ribbons, glue to the thread. Fasten one end of the thread to the bow of the liner, the other to the top of the ship.

speed boat

To work on a paper model of a racing boat, you will need a sheet of regular paper (A 4), scissors, and colored pencils.

Step by step procedure:

  1. A rectangular sheet of paper is folded in length, the fold should be located exactly in the middle of the sheet.
  2. Cut the sheet of paper along the fold line.
  3. In the upper part of one resulting rectangle, bend the right corner, thus forming a right triangle. One of the sides of the rectangle must exactly match the side of the rectangle. Do the same with the left corner of the rectangle. Mark the point of intersection of the folds.
  4. Bend the side of the rectangle, smooth. The fold line should be located on the horizontal line of the center point.
  5. Turn over the workpiece. At the top of the rectangle will be a square, the diagonal folds of which will be directed downward. Connect the side triangles along the horizontal fold and smooth the resulting upper triangle.
  6. From the opposite edge of the rectangle, fold exactly the same triangle.
  7. Raise the upper triangles, and bend the sides of the rectangle in narrow stripes to the center line, smooth.
  8. Bend the corners of one of the triangles to the base, while doing the vertical folds as long as possible.
  9. The triangle from the opposite edge is bent to the middle of the upper part of the workpiece.
  10. Further, the corners of the small triangle, which is on top, are bent to the center line. A vertical narrow strip is formed at the base of the triangle.
  11. The corners of the lower larger triangle are bent at a right angle.
  12. Color the boat with colored pencils.

Double catamaran boat

A paper model of a catamaran boat will consist of 2 hulls, for which you will need a square sheet of paper.

How to make a paper ship with two hulls:

  1. Diagonal folds are made on a sheet of paper. The horizontal fold passes through the center of the sheet of paper through the intersection point of the diagonals.
  2. The workpiece is turned over so that the diagonal folds are directed downwards. The side triangles of the square are bent towards each other along the central lines and hidden under the upper triangle.
  3. In the resulting double triangle, the corner opposite the longest side is bent to the base and hidden inward.

How to make a ship out of paper: another option for making a catamaran

The second option for making a paper catamaran boat:

  1. A square sheet of paper is folded diagonally. Then 2 more folds are made, which divide the sheet into 4 equal squares. Each side of the square is folded towards the center line.
  2. Next, 2 adjacent strips, making up ¼ of the square, are bent inward. The formed corner is smoothed out. At the other end of the same strip, the same angle is made in the same way. Now the upper part is a trapezoid.
  3. On the opposite side, fold the same trapezoid.
  4. Run a horizontal fold separating the trapezoid. Straighten the figure.

Ship-motor ship

To make a ship out of paper, you will need scissors and a sheet of thick paper.

Performance:

  1. Bend the sheet diagonally, thereby forming an isosceles right triangle. Cut off the remaining rectangular strip.
  2. Mark the diagonal folds of the resulting square.
  3. Bend each corner of the square, pointing to the point of intersection of the diagonals.
  4. Flip the resulting smaller square. Bend the corners again to the center point. Turn the workpiece over again and perform the same steps. The result should be 3 layers of addition.
  5. Flip the square. On this side, the corners of the square will be rhombuses, each of which is divided into 2 triangles diagonally. Open 2 opposite rhombuses.
  6. Unbend the figure, pulling on the remaining folded diamonds, straighten.

Boat in origami technique

To make a boat out of paper, you need a square-shaped sheet of thick paper.

Work process:

  1. Fold a piece of paper horizontally in half. In each resulting rectangle, select the central inflection line.
  2. Bend the upper unconnected corners of the rectangles to the dividing folds. Rectangular triangles should be on the outside.
  3. The bottom corners of the rectangles are folded together in one direction towards the center fold. Now we get a figure of 2 layers, in the center of which there is a rectangle, where the sides are the bases of 2 triangles.
  4. Further, the upper part of the first layer of the figure is bent along the marked horizontal fold with a “pull-on” movement. The upper part of the second layer is folded away from you. After completing the steps, you should get an inverted trapezoid.
  5. Straighten the workpiece from the inside. Fold the corners inward, guiding them along the horizontal dividing line.
  6. Separate the corners in different directions, open the boat, level the bottom.

colored paper boat

To make a ship out of colored paper, you will need a double-sided colored sheet of paper in the form of a square with a side equal to 20 cm.

How to make a ship out of paper - manufacturing process:

  • Fold a sheet of paper along both diagonal lines, the folds must be carefully selected.
  • Position a sheet of paper so that the diagonal folds are directed downwards, bend one corner of the paper square to the center point (the place where the diagonals intersect).
  • Fold the sheet in half along the intended diagonal. The folded corner in the previous step will be on the outside.
  • Fold the resulting figure along the second, pre-planned diagonal fold.
  • The figure in the plane should turn out in the form of an isosceles triangle. Fold up the top of the workpiece. Unfold a pocket inside it, the upper part of which forms a triangle. The folds of the triangle are carefully smoothed out, the whole figure is pressed against the plane of the workpiece.
  • Now the whole blank is divided into 2 parts: on the right is a square, on the left is a triangle. The upper part of the square consists of 2 triangles superimposed on each other. The sides of the surface triangle are bent at an acute angle, rise and form a small triangle, which will be perpendicular to the plane of the workpiece.

  • Then this triangle opens again, its top is bent, thus forming the pipe of the future ship. The triangle now without a vertex is folded again.
  • The top and left sides of the square are bent to the center line and returned to their original position.
  • The upper right corner and the lower left opposite to it are bent, forming triangles.
  • The center of the square rises, the whole structure also rises, while the square is folded, only a triangle with a cut top (the ship's pipe) remains visible.
  • The bottom of the sheet of paper is folded up in a wide strip. The workpiece is turned over, and the same strip is bent in the opposite direction.
  • The craft unfolds neatly, the last fold turns up. Fold the workpiece, smooth.
  • Fold the back edges of the sides into rectangles and nest them into each other.

How to fold a paper boat into a box

It is easier to make a ship from checkered paper than from unmarked paper: straight horizontal and vertical lines are clearly marked on checkered paper.

The piece is built in the following order:

  1. An ordinary squared notebook sheet is folded in half in a horizontal direction.
  2. The center is marked on the resulting rectangle. The upper corners of the rectangle are bent to the center line.
  3. The upper lower rectangles are bent upwards, their corners are folded along the edges of the triangle.
  4. The triangle unfolds and folds into a square, the lower corners fold along the center line in different directions, smooth out.
  5. The triangle opens again to form a square.
  6. Open the figure by pulling the top of the workpiece in different directions, straighten the ship.

Video about making paper boats

Video how to make a ship out of paper:

All kids love to float boats on the water. If you do not know how to make a paper boat for a child or want to make a paper boat with him, our article will help you with this.

We will consider the most interesting and simple options that can only be made using paper using the origami method, using diagrams and step-by-step instructions.

In order to make a simple paper boat with your own hands, you will need the very minimum amount of materials at hand. Or rather, just paper. It can be either colored paper or a regular sheet from a school notebook.

simple paper boat

Prepare a sheet of paper. It is very good if it is an A4 sheet - then the boat will turn out to be large, dense, and, of course, stable. This means that it will stay afloat for a long time and still defeat the opponent.

The steps to create a paper boat are as follows:

Fold the prepared paper in half. Place it with the folded side up and fold it in half again.

  1. Bend the upper corners at a right angle towards the center.
  2. Bend all free edges of the sheet up on both sides.
  3. Carefully tuck all loose corners inward. You will get a triangle.
  4. Bring the corners at the base of the shape together. This should make a square.
  5. Bend the bottom corners of the square on both sides so that you again get a triangle.
  6. Bring the corners at its base together - get a square. Take it by the upper corners and gently pull it to the sides until the figure is fully opened and the boat is complete.
  7. Flatten the sides of the boat for maximum stability.

It’s better to figure out how to make this boat, a visual diagram will help you:

Congratulations, a simple paper boat is ready! If you wish, you can paint it with pencils, felt-tip pens and paints, and even make additional applications on the walls. And handmade small masts, sails and flags, carefully placed on board, will certainly delight children and make the boat even better. Playing with such a paper friend is a pleasure!

For greater clarity, we suggest you watch a short video that shows in detail the process of creating a paper boat with your own hands

The process of creating a twin-pipe boat is not as complicated as it might seem. You will again need a familiar sheet of paper and an additional tool - scissors.

So, in order to make a two-pipe boat, you will need:

    1. Bend the lower left corner of the sheet of paper so that its upper side lies completely on the right. Cut off the excess part. Having unfolded the sheet completely, you will see a square in front of you.
    2. Since one fold line already exists on it, it is necessary to make a second one that intersects with it. To do this, the square should be bent diagonally.
    3. Bend all four corners towards the center to get a small square.
    4. Turn the resulting figure with bent corners down. Then repeat the third paragraph - bend all corners to the center.

  1. A square sheet of paper (it is easy to make it from a rectangular one by bending one of the corners and cutting off the excess) must be bent along the central axis and diagonals in such a way as to get 16 small squares.
  2. Bend all four corners of the square towards the center, and then align the two edges of the workpiece with each other and with the center.
  3. Do the same procedure for all corners. Turn the workpiece over and bend it in half diagonally.
  4. Connect the small triangles on the right side of the figure to each other. They will appear as a sail.

Second way

This method is traditional for the Japanese. To implement it, you will need:

  1. Take a square piece of paper and fold it diagonally.
  2. Two corners along the center line are also gently bent.
  3. Next, you need to bend the bottom corner and combine it with the top, thus forming a horizontal line.
  4. The two sides along the axial vertical line are also bent.
  5. Gently bend the side with an obtuse angle and bend it at an angle of 90 degrees to the horizontal sheet.
  6. For greater persuasiveness, bend the vertical sheet a little on the sides.

Japanese ship - the sailboat is ready!

Usually, a sailboat is advised to be made of colored paper, because this way it is much brighter and more beautiful. Don't forget to paint and decorate it however you like, and make a few more like it. After all, the more of them, the more interesting.

The process of creating a paper boat - a sailboat is shown in the following video

The scheme for creating a boat is also simple and takes only a few minutes. You will only need patience, accuracy and care.

In order to create a boat-boat out of paper, you need quite a bit of time and effort. Fold A4 sheet in half first along and then across. Pay close attention to the fact that the closed edges should be on top.

The next step involves working with the corners - the top ones need to be folded to the center line, and the top and bottom edges, which are currently open, are folded up.

Then you need to bend the triangle. As soon as you do this, you will have a square in front of you, the bottom corners of which are open. Now fold the front and back corners up.

From the resulting triangle, again make a square. Now slowly pull the ends of the upper corners of the square in different directions, and a real paper boat will appear in front of you.
