height: 2 m
weight: 104 kg
education: higher. Graduated from the coaching department of the Russian Academy of Physical Culture (1995)
Family status: about to get married
PREFERENCES
drink: water from Skhodnensky springs
dish: potato
book: "Baby and Carlson"
hobby: Russian bath and be sure to pour a bucket of ice water on yourself after the steam room
I bet you didn't know that... Dima said a swear word for the first time in front of his parents and grandparents at the age of 7, when the USSR football team drew 0:0 with the Poles at the World Cup in Spain in 1982 and did not reach the semi-finals. He was then beaten.

– Does a sports commentator’s morning begin with exercise?
– My morning should start no earlier than 12 o’clock. But this is not because I am a couch potato. It’s just that the previous day ends well after midnight. By the time I get home, I’ll eat... I only fall asleep at three in the morning. Therefore, if you get up early, the day will not be successful. My motto is: “He who sleeps and eats well works well.” But now I’m seriously planning to resume swimming lessons. The spine creaks - I don’t like it.
– You just returned from Hungary, where you commentated on the European Aquatics Championships. But the sports framework is clearly too small for you. You host the program “Who Wants to Become Maxim Galkin”, comment on “Eurovision 2010”, appear in a Santa Claus costume at the “New Year’s Light”...
– This is just an opportunity to expand creative horizons. I can be the host of anything. But everyone knows that first and foremost I am a sports commentator. I'm not going to betray my profession.
– You even starred in TV series!
– I actually played them. Most often himself. But this is amateurish. However, looking at many contemporary artists, I think that I would not be the worst “dancer”. I also gained a lot of respect for myself as a singer after hearing the singing of Dmitry Dyuzhev and Oksana Fedorova.
– If you have free time and you find yourself at home alone, what do you do?
– I really like to sit in my mother’s apartment in a chair with a remote control and switch TV channels. I can rest like this for a day, but no more. Then I begin to suffer without work. I also like to walk in the forest. Now I dream of making a program about Skhodnensky Forest on the Russia 2 channel. I would start it like this: “Hello! The “My Planet” program is on the air, and we are at the entrance to the most beautiful place on earth - the Skhodnensky forest. Here is a stump that I once crashed into on a sled. But here are people who didn’t bother to make treatment facilities and are polluting the place where they could swim.”
– Do you have any weaknesses?
– I’m training my willpower when I see a huge vase opposite me with “Chamomile” and “Cornflower” candies. I hardly eat others. And I’m ready to eat 8 of these in a row. Although I understand that this is harmful and a huge burden on the pancreas. Now I can stop after 3-4 pieces.

School strike

– You are an emotional person, judging by the reports. Did your teachers suffer from you as a child?
– I was an eccentric child. But my tricks quickly became known to my mother. She worked in a pharmacy near the school, and all the teachers came to see her after work...When perestroika began, there was a strike at our school. I turned out to be the leader of the strike committee, and we decided to give power to the school council. I walked around with an “Electronics” tape recorder under my arm and interviewed everyone.
“That’s why the hyperactive boy was sent to sports, rowing...
“Before that, there was a ski section, from which I was kicked out in the 4th grade. I missed several training sessions due to illness, and the coach did not look into it. I am grateful to him for this. My mother had already met a rowing coach; I didn’t put much effort into it and took up this sport. Although I was also invited to play football - I stood in the goal. I am very proud that at the age of 14, in one of the games for the Khimki region cup, I saved a penalty. We took second place in that tournament. After the game, a selector from the Moscow Torpedo approached me and invited me to a tryout at the club. But I proudly answered that I was rowing. And if he had agreed, then Igor Akinfeev would not have had a chance to still stand in the goal of the Russian national football team.

Loving an athlete

– Often, the more successful a person becomes, the more enemies he has. How are you?
– I am a very peaceful person. Whenever I hit my opponent in the face, I immediately wanted to make peace. But recently I began to notice that outright ill-wishers appear, whom I previously considered close people. You let a person into your soul, and then you are disappointed. It is better to love athletes from a distance.
- Like this?
– Without love you cannot be a good commentator. That's funny. You will sit in the studio like a stale cracker. But many athletes are selfish. You need to keep your distance from them. I had unpleasant moments on this basis.
– And why were you offended?
– For example, when Zhenya Ustyugov arrived “disassembled” after the Olympic Games, and I said on air that it was not the place for representatives of local authorities to endlessly tug at an athlete. Many people misunderstood this at the time. I knew that Zhenya was doing the wrong thing. He told me: “Dima, why do this? People thought I was drinking heavily." Although the matter there was completely different. We talked to Zhenya and found out everything. And there are no more problems.
– Which of the women you know could commentate on football?
– Tina Kandelaki and I hosted Valery Gazzaev’s birthday party. Before I had time to open my mouth, she already began to speak herself. And everything is to the point. She even found out that Dynamo Kiev won against Krivbass with a score of 2:1 three days ago. Even I didn't know this. Tina is an absolutely ready football commentator.

Ideal woman

– With your height, it’s easy to meet girls...
– I’m lucky – I have a girlfriend, Lena. She was an unattainable star for me when we were in school. Then we met by chance. On the train - I was on my way to buy a car from my mother. I see Lena standing on the platform. I went. She was reading a Russian-German dictionary. I thought that he was waiting for some guy. But my first love made me happy: “There won’t be a man!” She has nothing to do with sports, and I like that. Lena works as a designer, so my apartment, where renovations are being completed, takes on the outlines of a decent home. Lena is close to my ideal woman. She cooks deliciously. Even my mother is a serious competitor, which is very difficult to do. He doesn’t try to change me and accepts me as I am. A woman must feel a man.
-Your son from your first marriage, Misha, is still growing up?
– Yes, and I’m proud of him. He will soon be 8 years old. I don't get to see him often. He lives with my first wife. But I take an active part in his upbringing. And the child, unlike me, has absolute pitch. Misha takes piano classes. At the same time, he is learning to play the guitar and chess.
– Are you going to make an athlete out of him?
- Don't know. He loved hockey. But he doesn’t have enough mass for hockey: he’s tall and thin.
– On the “Girls” program you made a sensational statement...
- Why am I going to get married? Yes! Someday this has to happen... I spoke about marriage quite consciously. A single person is simply obliged to get married sooner or later. It's not normal to be alone. Therefore, I urge all unmarried people to go to the registry office! This should be our men's motto!

Blitz survey

- If it’s the sea, then...
- Warm.
- If music, then...
- Heavy.
– If it’s a cartoon character, then...
– The wolf from “Well, wait a minute!”
- If it’s a weapon, then...
- Biathlete's rifle.
- If it’s color, then...
- Yellow. Leader's jersey color.

For his many years of work on Russian television, in 2007 Dmitry Guberniev was awarded the TEFI Prize, which is considered the highest award for a television journalist in Russia.

Colleagues of the popular TV presenter smashed his face

He became a master of sports in rowing, but soon realized that he would not be a world champion. However, the country still recognized Dmitry GUBERNIEV. He is called the “voice of Russian biathlon”, he sued Zenit goalkeeper Vyacheslav MALAFEEV, and hosts various shows. Guberniev is loved or hated, but he leaves no one indifferent.

- Dima, what are you most often criticized for?

For talking about women's hips ( laughs). Once, during a report, I noted that the German biathlete Magdalena Neuner very beautiful legs. Any decent guy will say that! But there were critics, quite a lot of them, who began to reproach me: they say, you are commenting on biathlon, not a beauty contest. Alexander Shirvindt, fortunately, took my side. He said: “In my time they also ran, but commentators did not talk about beautiful legs and who married whom. But in vain, it’s interesting.” - How did you become friends with Shirvindt?- I have always had tender feelings for the Satire Theater. “Little Comedies of the Big House”, “Figaro”, “Awake and Sing” - these are unforgettable performances, I have watched them on video cassettes more than once. I admired the way Shirvindt played the role of Count Almaviva, and never thought that I would meet such a master. And suddenly the coach Elena Chaikovskaya He tells me that Alexander Anatolyevich has been really hooked on biathlon for some time now. That he listens to my reports. I called Shirvindt, he invited me to the theater to see “Ornifle,” and after the performance, in the dressing room, he said: “You know, my wife has stupid taste - she’s your fan.”

- You often tease Nikolai Baskov. Why?

“Blue Light” brought us together. I feel very warmly towards Baskov. Such a voice, such songs... For example, with Natalie he sings, “I can’t forget your lali lalay.” This is not a text, but a masterpiece! And in general, there are few real men in show business. There are only two left - me and Kolya Baskov ( laughs).- You were an ardent opponent of the German Wolfgang Pichler, who trained our biathletes. When you meet, will you give Pichler your hand or pretend you didn’t notice? - I'll say hello. But I won’t change my opinion: Pichler- this is a rogue, he should have been fired from the Russian national team earlier! Yes, at one time he raised a Swedish girl Magdalena Forsberg, but she never became an Olympic champion. And ours Anya Bulygina I ate chips and Coca-Cola at Pichler's! How shoud I understand this?! Victory Yurlova at the last world championship everything was put in its place. Pichler spread rot on her and did not take her to the Olympics in Sochi. Katya suffered so much because of him! When the German left, Yurlova became world champion.

Doesn't Fabio Capello remind you of a German specialist in some way? Is a contract with an Italian not a waste of money?

- Capello clearly not being finalized. It will be very funny if our valiant footballers from such a group do not qualify for Euro 2016. I saw a video on the Internet like Dzagoev and the company were relaxing in a strip club. This is preparation for the most important qualifying match! This causes nothing but indignation and disgust. And what a contract Don Fabio has! Receiving 7 million euros a year, he also demanded from his employer an iPhone, an iPad, a luxury company car and 11 thousand euros a month for living in Moscow. Any whim for our money! Of course, the Italian’s lawyers did an excellent job, but Capello himself could have been more modest. - After what you said on air about Vyacheslav Malafeev, it seemed that you would be enemies with him for life. But reconciliation took place. How did you do it? - I came to Slava in St. Petersburg and apologized. I think I could have done this earlier, then there would have been no trial. The key moment was when, during filming in St. Petersburg, Malafeev’s son took me by the finger and did not let go for a long time. “You see, it’s impossible to deceive a child, children won’t be attracted to bad people,” I told the Zenit goalkeeper. Slava and I not only made peace, but also communicate. I now know his wife and children.

The pastry chef let me down

I recently saw a story on the “Bolshoi Sport” program. Two young guys run up to you in the studio and throw a cake in your face with all their might!

My colleagues joked about it. Our program turned two years old, and the guys decided to have some fun. Everything would have been fine, but the cake had a large layer of icing, and it did not crumble upon impact. As a result, I got a black eye and my forehead was broken. These guys will be fired without severance pay. Maybe they'll become polishers or security guards.

- They say that before coming to television you worked as a security guard...- Yes, in casinos and nightclubs. These establishments no longer exist in Moscow. I’m not ashamed of my past - I had to make a living somehow. Before that he was a fitness instructor. And in 1997 he came to television. You could say from the street. And he passed the competition. Now I teach students myself. - How do you like working on the same channel with your ex-wife, Olga Bogoslovskaya?- We have an excellent relationship. They got married quickly and quickly separated. But she managed to give birth to my son, his name is Misha. Later Olya got married, so my son has two dads - me and dad Sasha. But it's better than none. I will add that Olga is a former runner, ex-world champion in the 4x100 meter relay. On the Russia-2 channel she comments on athletics.

- As I understand it, the son lives with his mother. Do you see him often?

Not as often as I would like. But I take him with me to the dacha, Misha communicates with my friends. He hooligans with terrible force, but he seems to study normally. In September Misha will be 13 years old - a difficult age begins. - Probably his dad is teaching him to row, and his mom is teaching him to do athletics?- But no. I take it with me to concerts of famous rockers. We recently went to Joe Lynn Turner, who came to Moscow. And before that we were at the concerts of “Scorpions”, “Uriah Heep”, “Nazareth”... Mishka is involved in the football section, and he also has a level in chess.

- Your ex-wife is married. Do you have a desire to start a new family yourself?- Of course, I have a girlfriend. So don't worry, everything is fine. I feel free and comfortable any day. But I'm not talking about my personal life. - Are you often recognized on the streets?- Yes. In the summer I wear dark glasses. But there are also situations when you don’t know how to react. Recently, at the Sports Palace, a guy and a girl approached me. And he comes at me, and even with obscenities: they say, when I comment on hockey, our guys always lose. I answer him: listen, smart guy, you have confused me with someone. I only commentated on hockey once, and that time Russia beat the USA. Learn the materiel, otherwise the girl will leave you soon. After that, I heard a girlish laughter. I think they have already broken up. - The famous commentator Naum Dymarsky (now deceased) told how, during a sports news broadcast, his chair began to sink lower and lower, and as a result, viewers saw only half of Dymarsky’s head. Has something similar happened to you? - Chairs fail many TV people. That's why I check everything carefully before broadcasting. I remember how we conducted the program with Yuri Tishkov, a famous football player, and suddenly the light bulbs in the studio exploded! The fragments fell right on me. Unpleasant feeling. And a few months later, Yura, who crossed the path of illegal football agents, was brutally killed. It was as if someone was warning him with light bulbs. This was in 2003. The criminals have not yet been found.

TV commentator's pearls

* Well, finally the German athlete shot himself!

*You shouldn’t expect aliens to fly in and take away two skis from Bjoerndalen at once.* Are you going to run in two days on the third? No, our football players would have died long ago from such work. And here every day! This is not for them.* He fired the last bullet with such amazement, as if the target stood up and came towards him with a bayonet at the ready.* I knock on everything wooden, on the monitor and on the head. The commentator's head replaces the tree in all situations.

Today, unfortunately, the marriage of Dmitry and Olga is already a thing of the past, but this woman played a significant role in the life of the famous commentator, so we could not help but include her name in a number of StarWives personalities.

Dmitry Guberniev's wife and her career path

The ex-wife of Dmitry Guberniev is a master of sports, former world champion in athletics and famous runner Olga Bogoslovskaya in the Soviet Union.

The future athlete was born on May 20, 1964, and since childhood she showed considerable athletic ability. Having received her education at the Moscow Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers, Bogoslovskaya did not work for a day in her specialty, devoting herself entirely to sports, and the results were not long in coming.

In 1992, the girl became a silver medalist at the Summer Olympic Games in the 4x100 m relay. In the same type of relay, the very next year Olga received the title of world running champion.

At the end of her brilliant career as a runner, Olga Bogoslovskaya - unexpectedly even for herself - finds a new working berth on television, where she is invited as a commentator on competitions related to various types of athletics. It must be said that the former athlete categorically rejects any proposals related to commentating on any other sports - more than anything else, Lady Impeccability is afraid of seeming unprofessional.

When asked how she manages to conduct her twelve-hour comments without getting lost or making mistakes, and instilling constant trust and interest in her viewer, Olga invariably answers that she simply tries not to think about the fact that her broadcast has a multimillion-dollar audience, and comments as if for herself - as if she - like millions of Russians - is sitting at home on the sofa in front of the TV and aloud experiencing the events taking place on its screen.

Among the striking features of the “trademark” style of commentator Olga Bogoslovskaya, her loyal fans note experience and professionalism - after all, she knows all the “ins and outs” of athletics competitions first-hand, a willingness to always support athletes, an optimistic attitude and positive spirit, as well as a pleasant and memorable voice.

Why is Olga Bogoslovskaya no longer the wife of Dmitry Guberniev?

Perhaps only the ex-spouses themselves know the exact answer to such a personal question. But, according to the general opinion prevailing in television circles, Olga - an excellent athlete and an excellent talented commentator - is not at all a “family” woman in the traditional sense of the word.

Someone will object: but Guberniev is a very passionate person about his profession, and is by no means a homebody, so why didn’t Olga become the woman of his life? The secret is simple - a true conqueror always desperately wants a devoted, caring wife waiting for him at home - and they could become like that.
